Finished the demo. It was AMAZING with an awesome plot line that could run circles around a lot of blockbusters, a gripping story, and interesting and memorable characters. No fillers. Every line was perfect, I could hear their Italian accents, and I kinda wish it had voice acting too. I can't wait to play the full game.

The gameplay is also fun and feels good.

I just finished it in one sitting and I loved it. Very interesting concept and great execution IMO, although shorter than I would've liked. I would definitely recommend if you like PlateUp and card games.

A couple criticisms:

- More recipes and just more content in general would be great. This felt like I was playing the tutorial and I was disappointed there wasn't more to it.
- The ability to pause just takes all the stress out of the game making it way too easy. I tried not using it too much at times but it's there so that didn't happen and I cheesed it... That might be what you're looking for though, just manage your restaurant without stress. But I think that with a real time constraint and more content added it could be a great restaurant management game that could rival something like PlateUp (depending on the person of course. I just love the card system). I'm not sure if it would need huge rebalancing with an actual time limited run mode, but if the devs made one I would love to try it.
- Some basic UI and QOL stuff: The huge pause indicator is annoying and the coin cards could be condensed since it grew out of the board limits for me.

Scrathing my metroidvania itch. Its strong sides are the great artstyle and fun little storyline & characters. Fluid movement, very fun to run/jump around. Combat is nothing special but still feels good. I'd say the game a bit too easy but that's the niche it fills maybe (e.g. no corpse runs).

For bonus points, and I care a lot about this, overall great QOL stuff (responsive movement and interactions, no wait times, instant teleports, no loadscreens, etc.)

It does lack in enemy and upgrade variety but I think that's fine because it's kind of a short little game. I also don't super love the momentum-based movement. Even though it is fun running around levels, I still would rather have more snappy controls in boss fights for example. It's not the end of the world though, more of a nitpick.
