A little slow and functionally more successful as an opening chapter than a standalone instalment, but otherwise this is the strongest Ace Attorney game since Trials and Tribulations. Takami's writing is unbelievable in its interconnected strands, the characters are beyond delightful and the animation work is astonishing. Most importantly, it ends on an enormous high.
