Probably one of the best movement systems in 3D space I've played with in recent years with a lot of animation and care put into the character you play. As far as Metroidvania style games though, I feel its a mixed bag given a lot of lacking direction and basically giving the player free roam to figure everything out on their own. It's not my particular cup of tea as far as design goes, but the areas all connect and there's a surprising amount of scale to each area you visit.

Also they could've totally axe the combat altogether and I think you'd have a far more interesting time. Even with some of the nuances of being able to kick your sword in mid-air and some fun dodge maneuvering, it just doesn't have the impact or complexity to carry itself at large.

I feel like this needs a bit more impact/variety to its combat, given you only have a slim set of attacks and a lot of the time you don't even have to engage. I also think it needs a trim in the size of its areas as a lot of the time its a lot of vacant space that doesn't do much to really help the player, even if there are neat little trinkets laying about.
