A very well-made successor to the first game. It feels much more like a classic JRPG compared to VP Lenneth. The story didn't quite click with me and it drags a bit in the middle of the game (chapter 3 takes forever and you're chasing after a McGuffin the whole time without anything happening^^).

The jump passages in the dungeons are sometimes really horrible and annoying. But the world design is really good, the atmosphere in the towns is very strong and the music was also great (but not as good as in VP 1). I also found it a shame that you only get backstory about the Einherjar in text form and not in cutscenes like in the predecessor. On the other hand, you now have a party with characters that have a bit more personality...Rufus was annoying :D

I know that all that sounds pretty negative but the game is great, fighting is fun, there are so many possibilities to put the party together and the hit feedback is really awesome. Still, for me it's much weaker than Lenneth.
