This is an excellent remake. It took what was a pretty fun, if a bit clunky game on the PS1 and GBA and turned it into a clean, fun experience. It addressed fan criticisms (the ending, especially), and modernized the UI and UX. It added a new move to make the game more forgiving to people who want the extra help, but which can be very easily ignored. My sole sticking point is the soundtrack. Some tracks are very crusty. A proper remastering job would have done the game wonders. The music that's there is great, but it could use a few more bits. More remakes of this ilk (with fixed audio?) please.
