The Bloodstained Sanctuary might be one of the worst "sendoff" levels I've ever had the misfortune of slogging through. It wouldn't even be hard to make it match the rest of the game by adding a few save points and adding a bit more between the first boss and Ballos. A major blemish to cap off an otherwise excellent game.
