3D World:
Not as good as Galaxy imo, however it was still phenomenal enough for me to 100% it. Even though I haven't played the Wii U version, I still thought that this was way too fast. The dive is great, however the movement speed should have only been a 10-20% increase. Level design is kinda ruined by the super speed.
Bowsers Fury:
This is basically a DLC, and yet it's one of my favourite 'games' of all time. The music as incredible, the graphics are so much more colourful and vibrant than 3D World, and the open world is a joy to move around in. I'd say that everything here is on par with Odyssey - except from the movement.
Summary:
While I prefer Bowser's Fury, I think that these games work perfectly together. It appeals to people who love linear or open gameplay, and dare I say it has the best soundtrack out of all the Mario's.
