That manual is absolutely beautiful and I dig the art style.

I found the combat to be unsatisfying. It's missing some type of feedback or friction. It never really felt good to beat enemies. I was mostly just relieved when bosses died, I didn't feel any sense of triumph.

I found the inscrutability of where to go or how things worked to just be too manufactured. Why can't my dude read the manual? Why are the pages hidden? Seems to be just to "create" a mystery which I guess is cool but doesn't really feel organic in any way.

Exploring is sometimes fun, sometimes a headache. There are many secrets hidden via perspective so you have to smash your fox into every wall and corner to see if you can find a hidden path.

The music is GOOD but not GREAT.

It's a beautiful game about hidden nonsense and I guess I just didn't like the hidden nonsense all that much.
