Love the fast pace of the game play and the dumb anime-appropriating story works just fine for me. I think everything looks great.

I think the disconnect between the visual novel and the FPS platform levels is hindering my motivation. I'm score-attacking, then interacting with some story that tangentially encompasses the score-attacking, gaining linear "social" levels with my buddies that are advancing slowly... it's all presented well but it ended up being less than the sum of its parts for me.
