Bio
I like walking simulators and reading bad reviews on Steam. I play all types of games and can be easily dragged into playing games with mechanics I don't like if I like the art enough.

I will play FMV's even if they are bad.

If you can fish in a game I am there.

This game is almost perfect to me. My only real complaint is that the boss fights have some weird requirements that I am terrible at and it's frustrating.

But all the pokemon interactions really make it worth while. There's something magical about watching a tiny Dedenne absolutely destroy some cables. Or Espurr creepily noticing you and floating away into the mist.

The Park is a pretty solid walking simulator style horror game. I really like Secret World which is somewhat tied to this game so I am a bit biased. The plot is mediocre but the environment is nice and I really enjoyed looking at all the art assets. It didn't do anything to make me angry and it had a few really good moments but nothing truly outstanding.

This game is more of a toy than a game and that's by design. The developer continuously improves on it and has put a lot of polish into it. This is a perfect example of what can be achieved with focus and sticking to scale for a project.
