Asteroids 7800 is the one of the most well put together versions of Asteroids that still has the issue of again... just being asteroids. The difficulty of the game is more on player input rather than the asteroids themselves. Having played this on Atari 50 I can say that even though this version is good, the biggest issue is that it's just another version of asteroids that happens to look nicer. It's good version, just nothing amazing, as again after having played both the arcade, 2600 version, and the Lynx version, there's not much to add other that:
"Shoot asteroids that become smaller asteroids and avoid them, and destroy them all till new ones spawn in. Destroy small ships that appear occsaionally... on the ATARI 7800!"
