It's commendable that such a small development team managed to put together something that hews so close to the scale and sense of discovery in BOTW. The world of SABLE is a gorgeous, enticing canvas for interesting world building, fetch quests that never get too taxing, and ample opportunities to uncover some truly wonderful surprises. The fact that it's scored with what's EASILY the best game soundtrack of 2021 is a plus.

Still, this game has bugs galore. False walls, inconsistent collision detection, prompts that won't load, and more. I watched some goofy shit play out on more than one occasion when I pushed the game too far. But it never really brought the experience down. The sincere beauty of what SABLE is trying to do outweighs all of the faults IMO.
