I thought this game was just going to be a lazy Story of Seasons reskin with Doraemon, who I don't particularly care about, pasted on top. I definitely wanted the uncreative cash-grab and just another Story of Seasons game, but unfortunately for me, this is an ambitious Doraemon title that's much more about looking like the show, focusing on the characters and having tons and tons and toooons of dialogue, more than it's about just being another Story of Seasons game. I could only take an hour or two before I got fed up with how slow and story-focused this game is compared to other games in the franchise. It seems like a fine enough game if you mostly just want a Doraemon game with some farming in it, I write without knowing anything about Doraemon, but I was hoping for the other way around. Is this actually good for fans of the anime? No idea, but it's not good for me either and I'm just going to value my limited time in life and focus on playing something else.
