game center operators own these. it's a public place you go to play video games on a per-credit basis

they are insane. so is the former mame contributor/former rom dumper/pcb hoarder running it and their ensuing power trip. the true freaks dropping two whole stacks on a stick of pci flash storage in a funny looking plastic case to just sit in their home and play would ideally be the edge case, but since the arcades are an endangered species and not convenient to stream from you're more likely to come across internet streams from such insane people. the only person i've come across in fleshland that owns one of these makes money from it, probably more money than streaming it would. it's an industrial-grade amusement computer that's meant to be locked away in cab in a public space running nonstop during business hours. locked away in a viewlix is how i will experience it.
you could feasibly own one if you
really really save for it i guess
but yeah the whole business model is LAME bring this shit to consoles asap it cannot be that hard to port
