Thanks to a friend lending me the game, this was the first Devil May Cry I ever played (DmC aside because well...). While the story is what usually grabs my attention, in this case, I was fascinated by the combat. It's so rich and complex! I'm afraid DMC 5 has raised the bar for what I expect in action-adventure games, and it's frustrating that most of them don't get even close to this level.
