This was the very first tactical action RPG I played, and one of the few games I played that features an isometric view. All this unfamiliarity is, I believe, the reason I couldn't enjoy Transistor as much as other people did, and as much as I feel this game deserves.

The game's aesthetic is gorgeous, and this might be the element I enjoyed more fully. While in the beginning I was compelled to learn about the story and the mechanics, I felt my interest waning as the game progressed and I found myself getting lost on some points. The gameplay also didn't feel as satisfying after a while, which again might be because of my unfamiliarity with the genre.

It's a game that I wish to replay in the (probably near) future. Since there's even a trophy for replaying the story, it seems like a great opportunity!
