Miles Morales is a great guy and his bio-electrical powers are a spectacular addition to the combat (but a tiring gimmick to puzzles). It's a shame that the story is so... plain. The writers chose the simplest superhero template possible and stamped it with Miles and his (not-so-captivating) cast. Balancing on terrible pacing and weak conflicts, the plots falters between the dull and the melodramatic. There are good moments, but they are far-between, a flaw that became even more glaring after the New Game+ run required for the platinum trophy.
