Coming off Amnesia: The Bunker and not really vibing with the other amnesia game I decided Soma was next. So I went in blind and wow. Soma wasn't just amnesia in underwater; it was game that posed so many big questions and let the players answer those questions.

The monster encounters kinda sucked except for the scripted ones and the game overall felt like dead space but you cant do anything to the monsters. Despite that, it was the narrative that truly gripped me. Soma relentlessly posed existential questions, forcing me to confront the very essence of consciousness. The decisions I made weren't about immediate, world-altering consequences, but rather about the quiet weight of my choices. There were no grand displays of what my decisions did , just the chilling reality of living with the consequences, a testament to the game's masterful storytelling.
