I started a Zelda marathon all the way back in February for Zelda's 35th anniversary (and to will Breath of the Wild 2 to a release date). Now, after 12 games (sorry I don't have all of them; I'm missing a lot of the portable ones), I've finally completed my marathon and BOTW 2 got a release date for next year! I'm happy for all of that, since I got to play Zelda games I had never gotten around to (like The Minish Cap and A Link Between Worlds) and relive old favorites (like Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker. Though Breath of the Wild may never quite replicate the exact feeling of playing it for the first time and making those discoveries and feeling those emotions, I still had a lovely time with it once again. Here's hoping that Breath of the Wild 2 will be just as exciting and memorable as the first one.
