It's been so long since I played it that I believe I wasn't even a full teenager, and I wanted to see how it held up. Naturally, it didn't amaze me as much as it did, but it's still pretty good.

My main qualms with it was how easy everything got given how little challenge the game throws at you; the most variety it has in mixing things up is throwing an enemy at you and then worrying you won't be able to bypass the challenge, so the game offers up an immediate upgrade that can just make them a non-issue. Ironically, despite trying to add in variety and worrying it would be too much, the new enemies don't actually use the new abilities to any advantage. They might as well not even have them, to be frank.

That said, the game still plays decently, if not with some jank (particularly where you're grappling to and some sluggish movement), the story has some interesting turns despite being kind of all over the place in terms of who's the main villain or what the most immediate threat is, and there's plenty of stuff littered around that's plenty interesting in its own right. It's solid, but after a revisit, I don't think it's the best in the series anymore.
