This sure is a game that exists for some reason. Yep. A Ps1 exclusive European exclusive platformer released in 2003. The same year that brought Silent Hill 3, Mario Kart Double Dash, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Beyond Good & Evil among others.
Ok I know. I should really mark this on its own merits but its just such a baffling late release. Graphically the game is really a pretty thing, full of bright colours, nicely detailed worlds and fun characters. Music is wonderful too thanks to a soundtrack full of childish glee.
But the game as a whole is so cookie-cutter it hurts. Mostly linear levels, very basic level design and just very little in the way of content or difficulty means you can sleepwalk through most of the game. Its not an awful game by any means but you can tell this was just rushed out to market to make sure the Ps1 had 'Something' for those still holding on for dear life.
