Played via Phantasy Reverie Series
Klonoa has been a series I've sadly missed as a kid on ps1 and ps2, so I've been really excited for the remaster the first game and the first re-release of 2. Door to Phantomile (game 1) actually feels like it has elements of 2d kirby with its platforming, which I really dig. The cute character designs are great, and the soundtrack is a bop, but knows when to get somber. If I were to put it in words, the story feels very dream-like (lol) so I think the sad points the story tries to convey is deserved as well. Very much looking forward to the 2nd game.
