I'm not as familiar with the original story as the more die hard fans of this game would be, but it feels like this installment was a lot of padding for the amount of story that we got. Far too many mini games and side quest content that felt lacking compared to FFVII: Remake.
I'll be waiting for the final installment for sure, but this will be the first FF game where I don't feel the need to replay it, even to get all the trophies or challenges completed.
