Disgaea follows a pretty familiar formula - the core plot is not too complicated, but maxing everything out and beating all the side content is a bottomless pit of grinding / item worlding. It's a good mindless game if you want to fill some time and enjoy 'number go up' without needing to think too hard. All the systems are good and enjoyable, but unless you have 100's of hours to sink into it, you'll only get a little taste
