It's...satisfactory. It does look quite ugly and it's definitely a bit of a Contra ripoff, but it's very much a playable one. It happens to have all of these things in common with Midnight Resistance for the Genesis, so you might like Time Slip if you like Midnight Resistance. There are a couple pretty poorly done shmup segments though, so watch out for those.
