I liked this one more this time. It's rather basic, but good fun nonetheless. The weapons are more equal in quality than I remembered, and I found myself switching around much more frequently than I did in my first playthrough. The music is really lacking, though, and I'm still not a fan of looping five times before the credits. The PC Engine version solves both of these, but I wasn't really aware of its existence until writing this.

This is among my favorites of Toaplan's, honestly. I think the sheer simplicity actually does it favors and it's a perfect game to go to for a quick shmup fix, especially with its short length and the easy mode allowing for a more casual play.
