Someone told me to try this a while back, but with my superhuman Ignoring Powers I somehow forgot to get around to it for like half a year.

Thunder Fox, starring Thunder and Fox, is honestly pretty bad. Imagine a game like Ninja Warriors with some Rolling Thunder mixed in, but the potential for the end result is squandered by just being annoying, awkward, and really choppy for some reason. The choppiness may be due to a shoddy port job, though, since the arcade version looks like it runs fine. It's only 5 levels long, but feels a lot longer when you're constantly getting jumped from all sides without much room to adjust even in the first level.

There's a lot better run and gun shooters, not only even at the time, but especially at the time. I would assume you could probably buy something like Super C for less money back then (correct me if I'm wrong, though), and Sunset Riders released in arcades the same month this Genesis port came out. Why would you be playing Thunder Fox instead?
