If I hadn't have played this literally directly after replaying the GTA series, I probably would have loved it. While its not BAD by any means, it just feels unpolished, which is probably an unfair judgement and mostly a product of comparing it the Rockstar games. The big bright spot here is the hand to hand combat. The shooting is usable but not good, but the hand to hand combat is excellent, giving a good amount of variety moves to unlock throughout the game. The driving is about what you'd expect from a GTA clone, functional but not great, and the story pacing is very bizarre. Some of the characters are decently interesting though, so there are bright spots. Overall its a good time, especially for how cheap you can get it now. The only DLC I played was the Zodiac Tournament which is basically Enter the Dragon/Mortal Kombat, and although very short, it was a good way to finish off the game.

TLDR;
Play this, but do not play anything made by Rockstar directly beforehand.
