"Zomg this turn-based RPG game out without a battle pass, microtransactions, subscriptions, day-one DLC, or $50 skins that make you look like the Michelin Tire man." Wow, it's almost like turn-based RPGs almost never have any of those things anyway.

I hate seeing positive reviews/opinion on this game and them being about lack of microtransactions and battle passes, and not about qualities of the game. I wonder if most of these people even played it

It’s more so about the ability to make a game like this and it be financially viable. Publishers have veered away from making RPGs like this over the last decade to the point where high profile ones straight up do not exist.
