The
The Story takes place during the last act of the film and after it, that's not a bad idea since it can give creators more opportunities to show what they can bring to the story. Voice acting is how you would expect from a PS2 game based on a kid's movie, sound like their counterparts, but aren't impressive. The Graphics are good, it looks and feels like the movie, even if the models don't always animate how they should. Controls feel great and makes moving around feel like how you want it too, smooth and responsive. The Gameplay has you go around avoiding the traps from the suburbs to steal food from people's houses and beating up mammals by either using household items and weapons or using your limbs, this is a fun idea for a over the hedge game, it is fun to play, you might start getting bored after a lot of it, but that comes down to people's preferences, so you could complete it without being bored after a while, minigames are alright, nothing special don't affect the story in any way, just for fun, which is fine. The music is alright, some tracks feel good for the situation, others sound out of place to me. Sounds are good, the satisfactory noises make you want to do things more. Over the hedge is a good kid's game that knows what it is and how to make it be what's expected from its film counterparts' fans.
