This was a frustrating playthrough for many reasons, I've been meaning to get into this game for a while now and since i heard it's one of, if not the greatest soulslike released my expectations were off the chart.

this game is pretty much a mix of different aspects of each souls game, and while on paper this might come off as a good thing this game's combat was pretty mediocre and showed its issues halfway through.

I wasn't a huge fan of the level designs, while not necessarily saying that they were bad but they still felt a bit dull, in addition to that the game kept on putting a lot of elite enemies that were extremely spongy and annoying to kill.

Bosses design (outside of 2 or 3) was not the best compared to other soulslike and I didn't have much fun trying to learn their attack patterns.

What i liked tho was how fun the weapons were, and the game having the ability to customize them was honestly really fun. The story was also really good and Pinocchio's character was well written as he gains his humanity throughout his interactions with different characters (more points for the game using petting the cat as a symbolism of his humanity).
