And at the end of the line you have the latest and possibly final entry in the long-lasting series of run and gun platformers. Mega Man 11 is practically the ultimate evolution of the series, ever since it had its awkward transitions from 8 to 16 and 32-bit (and all the way back to 8-bit for the last two) comes a fully fleshed out, modern HD video game in the franchise, and its ideas, execution and gameplay are so buttery smooth that it probably makes it my favorite of the Mega Man classic series of games.

Mega Man 11 is a very good entry in the franchise, maybe I'm a bit biased because I was heavily against the devolution of the series back in 9 and 10, but this one just takes it up to another standard for Mega Man. The slide and Mega Buster are back but not only that, they also have made the usage of Rush Coil and Jet super easy by mapping them to the two extra face buttons, of course coupling that with hot-swapping of the many amazing powers you get in this game, makes for a non-stop and very action full experience that I just didn't get for these games until and since 8.

Not to mention that the Double Gear system is a really fun mechanic that makes you rethink of strategies and maximizing its use, and the fact that it makes the different powers have distinct effects when you use it makes it all so much worth to actually use in the stages regularly since some of these are good in almost any situation and can be refilled easily, since there's no more micromanagement of resources making the game feel so much more fair than other games in the series, a Shop filled with different gadgets and upgrades that you can buy with readily accessible Bolts.

And, of course, to top it all, they gave distinct personalities to each Robot Master and made them actually characters,
besides the lore of the series being expanded in the initial sequence and other "cutscenes", there's just so much charm put into this game just like Mega Man 8, when there's voicelines and interactions between characters.

It's just a very high quality release and very deserved in respect to the Classic series, and I loved this game to bits. It's so fun. (Wouldn't 100% it because they make you replay it and do some hard ass challenges but, still, I love it.)
