really great game with one kinda big but not that bad issue, that being copy abilities being the least fun and varied that they've been in a long time. i kinda got over the fact that there's only 12 kinda quickly into the game (although i wish there were like, one or two more,) one thing that kinda soured the whole thing for me was how lame some of the upgrades felt. with very few exceptions, most upgrades are just "the previous thing but stronger" and they all have less varied move pools compared to what was in the 2d games, but they're still fun, y'know? i feel like mouthful mode kinda helps with this, by giving a bit more variety to the gameplay, but that doesn't really make the copy abilities any better. i still think this game is well worth the price, because it has a LOT going for it besides what i just said. some really great level design, music, atmosphere, etc. one of the best kirby games for sure, which im glad for because i was scared of it flopping hard lol.
