I can't imagine this game would be any fun solo, but as a Co-Op experience it's fresh and unforgettable.

An amazing story with some of the best visuals ever put to screen in a triple-a gaming experience. The combat feels great and is fun, but the game falls short in comparison to previous entries in the franchise due to its lack of party system and incredibly lackluster RPG elements. Overall a great stepping stone towards the next game, and a much needed breath of fresh air following the unfinished and unsatisfying XV.

Played about two hours of it and uninstalled. I get what they were trying to do, with a weird combination of half life and halo / resident evil? It doesn't really work and it's just not what I'd want from a doom game.
The best part about this game is how often they try to scare you, to the point where it's funny. You can't walk 3 feet in this game without something trying to kill you.
If doom 2016 is "the monsters are trapped in hell with you" this is "the monsters will rip you in half and you're a bitch"

You want to be Shovel knight so bad but oooo you're not Shovel knight are you

I feel like I'm a different person after playing this.

This game is pretty fun, but there's not much to it. Definitely play with a friend, some of the layouts can be pretty hellish.

Definitely a lot of potential here in terms of movement and level design, but its not quite there yet. Still a very fun demo that left me wanting more, but it needs more time in the pizza oven.

Solid first entry in the series but unfortunately does not hold up to time due to it's countless issues with difficulty and pacing.

Some thoughts; Lego yoda death sound, lego chewbacca scary, the last vehicle level is the shit of nightmares. These first two games have some of the worst close quarters star fox rail sections I've ever played. Other than that it's a slight improvement over the first game, but not by much. This is a good jumping off point for the series.

Multiple weeks. You win dk king of swing. I like the spritework, but other than that it's pretty gimmicky. Worth a shot if you like monkeys.

This game just OOZES style. You're very hard pressed to find truly unique platformers nowadays, but this one definitely hits the mark in standing out among it's contemporaries for it's deceptively simple yet rewarding platforming and incredibly well thought out level design. Each stage iterates and expands on the one that came before it without feeling dull or sluggish for it's 5 world run. Maybe slightly jank physics, but nothing that can't be out maneuvered by clever play.
If I had one thing to complain about it would be the unfortunately simple and challenge-less bosses, thus why this game is only 4 stars. With a movement gimmick as free flowing as a grappling hook, the bosses were pretty underwhelming and nothing remotely ground breaking. There's a lot of room for improvement and iteration in the sequel which I will definitely be picking up!
Overall I really enjoyed my time with this one, I even completed all of the bonus stages which is something I rarely do.

Now that's one spicy meatball. Fast, fluid, rewarding to master. This is everything I want out of a platformer and more.

Neat little beat em up, nothing special but still very enjoyable.
