As far as music games go the gameplay is alright, better for a more casual audience. The music is your usual jpop fare with some novelty songs from contemporary anime and games tie-ins.
Personally I found the single line format to be a bit over simplistic and I wasn't interested enough in the concept or music available to really invest myself to get good at the harder stages. Every music game has its core base, I just can't count myself amongst them.
Feels very similar to what has come before just with a new visual twist which is par for the course these days with more recent music games. Seems to now be abandonware so maybe don't bother and check for a newer game if you're into the look of it.
