I will never truly understand why F4 receives as much hate as it does. I'm not sure if the critics are die-hard "pre 3D" Fallout fans, or if they are 3/New Vegas obsessors. I have had a blast with Fallout 4 since day one release. I think the story is a little odd at times, and maybe the settlement system is extremely random (but avoidable if you want!). Although none of these gripes take away from the experience for me, I look at it as getting a quality of life improvement Fallout over the previous titles which I also love.
