The best of the best. Great gameplay, great level design, great weapons, great vault hunters with crazy builds (try out a Kreig melee build. It's a blast) and one of the greatest villains of all time in not just this franchise, but in any form of media. Easily the best game in the series.

A fantastic game that expands on the story of the series and shows us what it's like to live in this insane universe without being a badass vault hunter. Great writing, great characters, and more of Handsome Jack.

The original and a great start to the series. Not much more to say.

Probably the best gameplay in the series, but they also created a lot of new issues. For example, anointments were an interesting idea, but they were implemented badly. Instead of farming for the gear you wanted, endgame because farming for the gear you want with the right anointment. They added the anointment changer later, but that only applied a band-aid to a problem they created. I also have massive issues with the story and subpar villains, but I won't go into that here. I'll just say that my buying BL4 heavily depends on how much they shove Ava down our throats.

This game ranks higher on the list than it would have thanks to the high quality DLC. Each of the first 4 were packed with new areas, new weapons, and new things to do.

Took the improved gameplay from Borderlands 3 and turned Tiny Tina's Attack on Dragon's Keep into a full game. This game is a blast to play but it gets lower ranking because it didn't fix the anointment issue introduced by BL3. The DLC is also a disappointment so far. The DLC has always been great in this series (before the lackluster 2nd season pass for BL3) and the DLC for this is a joke so far. Here's hoping they take the feedback and make full expansions instead of 10-min weekly missions.

The second DLC just came out and it's as shoddy as the first. It's so bad that this game has gone from a 4 star to a 2 star in my mind and I've deleted it from my console. But it's still not as bad as the last one on this list.

This game is not good. Wonky jump pads that don't always work, brutal difficulty spikes, bad level design, and horrible bosses. Easily on the bottom of this list.
