Generally, I've never been a huge fan of DLCs, but I have to give credit where credit is due: this year we've had some really amazing ones, like Burning Shores for Horizon: Forbidden West, or Separate Ways for Resident Evil 4 – and now Phantom Liberty.

Together with the new 2.0 update the whole game finally feels finished, after all this time... or, rather, more or less finished. There are still quite a few bugs in it, more than could be forgiven or overlooked, if you ask me, especially because some of them can easily break immersion or the whole game (one time it completely crashed and closed, and some other times I had to re-load previous saves...). It's a real shame, because the graphics, the music, the acting, and especially the story and characters (Idris Elba nailed it!) are all great in my opinion – but, to be fair, I had no issues with these even in the super glitchy day one version. I still don't like the endings, though, not even the new ones.

All in all, even though it's not perfect, and probably never will be, this is a must buy, especially if you loved the main game. There's a lot of content here, side quests, new gameplay elements, new collectibles, and so on, and so on. A solid add-on.
