This game was undeniably fun. I didn't enjoy it as much as others, but I still enjoyed the game. It played well, though sometimes Samus would drift off and I'd think that my controller was drifting (I was, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that out). My complaints lie within the map and the movement. The map is made as if you have to backtrack a lot, which I personally really dislike. Running in circles does get pretty annoying especially when there's no fast travel to make it to another side quicker. For the movement, usual movement is fine but when fighting an enemy you have this "side-jump" which is supposed to be the dodge. It barely works the way you want it to, no matter how many times I side-jump I would end up still getting hit. However, when I finished the game I undeniably felt satisfied. I can recommend this for people who are fine with backtracking and would like Metroid.
