The new characters and their designs are terrible. So is the extremely straightforward and predictable story. However its easy to skip through the story to get to the good stuff.

While I feel the loss of many of Three Houses systems for between chapters there is little filler between chapters as a result of shifting away from them so it works out for the best in this case given my feelings on the story/characters.

Honestly its maps and gameplay are a big improvement over Three Houses. Every map feels very unique so it doesn't get boring. These aspects really carry this game in spite of my issues with it and keeps it on par with that last entry.
