Vertical shoot em up. Can pick up two types of weapons, a blue shot with a faster more straight attack and a red shot with a wider spread, a bomb attack when you press both buttons, and your ship can transform into three different forms that can focus more on enemies behind you or on the sides while firing homing shots. Getting hit causes loss of upgrades then death. Collecting five powerups change your ship to a superpowered form that lasts a set amount of time with damage leading to faster time loss but collecting more of the powerups adds small amounts of time.

Looks good with varied stages and some nice effects for the NES, building destruction, enemies flying along the ground below you before pulling up to attack, spiderlike enemies crawling along walls increasing in size as they get closer. Two player modes allows for a different type of powered up ship where the second player controls an alternate weapon.

Bad frequent, almost constant with some areas or enemies, graphic flickering and a lot of slowdown in certain areas. Only found the other ship forms useful in very specific areas. Easy to change your shot type to a mode you don't want with areas where a lot of powerups are getting in your way.
