This was pretty Dame Da-mazing! I loved it when the Dame Da Ne guy said his famous catchphrase "Dame Da Ne" and then made all those guys Dore Da-dead. I also liked the other dude, he was pretty cool, breakdancing all over the place. Overall, I had a really great Baka mi-time with Yakuza 0!

fr though this game rocks, great combat, fantastic story, fun as hell side content, a lot of real good boss fights (with a case of one boss overuse), and as well being a extremely well done introduction to the world of Yakuza. Excited to play the rest soon(ish)!

Is the one boss overuse referring to Kuze?

Yeah, i was kinda tired of fighting him by the end

Idk dawg, I thought it was sick as hell to have this absolutely tenacious rival character to work as a foil for Kiryu and seeing the progression of their relationship with each fight was really satisfying. It also parallels Sagawa and Majima's dynamic really nicely.

Also I'd never miss an opportunity to listen to Pledge of Demon or Oath of Enma, those OSTs are godlike.

Never considered the Majima/Sagawa parallels, thats kinda awesome tbh

My feeling on this comes from less of a story perspective and more of a like “I wish each fight was had me changing up my strategy more”,

I sent that last comment early because my phone sucks so ill continue it here;

Only time i had to really switch up my strategy for kuze was the fight where he had the pipe, aside that yeah i can be much more forgiving on it now due to the narrative points you brought up since those are really damn cool!

Yeah, my main love for the multiple encounters with him comes from the story and character ramifications (although it’s still a pretty fun fight every time). It is fair to wish for more variation in each fight though, I get that!!
