Similar to Ship of Harkinian, this is currently the best way to experience Majora's Mask 3D.

A PC port of the original Majoras's Mask is still in the works, so for now, we have this. Project Restoration aims to restore all of the weird changes that Majora's Mask 3D made to its original counterpart. They have reverted Zora swimming, Deku Link physics, and the bosses back to how they originally were on N64. They have also added a few quality of life changes, like being able to quickly swap masks with the D-Pad.

As for Majora's Mask itself, it is an excellent game. A darker sister game to Ocarina of Time.

Even though there are only four dungeons (which are excellent by the way), the main mechanic of the three-day time cycle more than makes up for it. Learning the schedules of different NPC's and completing side quests to earn masks is where the heart of the game lies.

The story is beautifully melancholic, and the soundtrack reflects that. It's insane how dark the story gets for a Nintendo game, and I love it.

If you have passed up Majora's Mask like I have in the past, please give it an honest chance. You may find something you really enjoy, much like I did.
