(review re-done effective 08/14/21)
I wanted to redo my review from a while back with a new perspective. While the value of this collection is decent (3 full Crash games with all content present) the collection itself is arguably not that great. The visuals while I didn't mind can be easily seen as off-putting, sort of a "NINTENDO HIRE THIS MAN" moment in the sense that they just slapped realistic fur textures on Crash and called it a day. Changing the artistic vision of the original games and taking too many artistic liberties is an ongoing topic for many remakes and even remasters and this collection is no exception.
