Simply put, it's just a disappointing game compared to the brilliance of the first game. It's way too long, double the length of the first, which wouldn't necessarily be bad but my god the awful pacing is what REALLY kills it. The new characters are either uninteresting or just wasted potential. Honestly, if I had known way before that this was the sequel we would be getting, I don't think I would've wanted it. Maybe The Last Of Us should've just stayed as a single game.
