@YuGi I came in wanting to love MGR but so many gameplay decisions are just absolutely baffling to me. That's not to say I hated everything about it, but I came out feeling pretty empty once the hype fizzled out. I'll try to put up a full write up soon so this back-handed compliment of a review doesn't just come across as bait

I have to unfortunately agree, lots of style and spectacle on a first playthrough, but the lack of substance on repeated playthroughs becomes very apparent and makes it hard to revisit.
