Probably the best pure platforming experience I've ever played. Where other platformers are bogged down metroidvania mechanics, tons of upgrades/power ups, and even combat, Celeste focuses on core platforming. It's is content to give the player a very small moveset that feels great, and design extremely intricate platforming challenges around it. It's basically the platonic ideal of a platformer.
The music, art, and characters are great too, but man it just feels so good to play. I don't know if I'll do the B & C sides, because I'm bad, but also because the core game finishes in such a satisfying way. Really really excellent all around. Can't wait to see what these guys make next.
