I'm still in shock that this game even exists, and I'm even more shocked that it might be the best game in the franchise. Dread is everything I'd want out of a modern Metroid game. It controls like a dream, has immaculate level design, and a great atmosphere.

It's impressive that even among a sea of indie Metroidvanias, the original can still come in, change a few things around, and blow 99% of those out of the water. I've already played through this twice, and I can see myself coming back when I get the itch.
