A pretty good game with some serious lack of polishment.

Lost in Random has an amazing art and design, a considerably good story - with some incredible dialogues and fourth-wall breaking puns - merged with a creative (but, sadly, not so well explored) battle system.
As for the lack of polishment, it's recurring to see badly posicioned hitboxes through the map, resulting in you getting stuck in almost every corner of the walkable paths. Depending on the map, it gets even more broken (particularly in the final areas), with some invisible walls getting in your way.
Another oversight happen with progress related dialogues: Sometimes you pass through a point in the map that activates a dialogue already seen, other times it activates a dialogue thats wasnt suposed to play at that moment.

The game battle system works, in short, by rolling the dice, getting energy based on the number rolled, and expending it on random received cards (based on the 15 cards custom deck made by the player). Those cards are used as advantages during real-time battles and have different effects, falling into five categories: Weapon, Attack, Hazard, Defense and Cheat.
Mostly of these cards rapidly become obsolete, be it for its low damage, slow use or difficult maneuver against enemies that quickly become stronger and faster as you progress. Even so, some of these card are still userful for strategies, but, another mistake of the game, there are no options to save your decks, what discourage players to try and test new card arrangements - knowing they must reorganize their main deck over and over again (it if they remember what cards they used in it).

Adding to the before mentioned facts, the last problem of the battle system (that is quick perceived as you progress) is: There is no dynamicity. After building a userful deck, all battles become just the basic of it: Roll the dice, get energy, use energy on cards, use cards, repeat!

Concluding, Lost in Random is a good game, but it could've be even better if due care and polishment were made, also if its battle system was better planed, avoiding the repetitive loop of sames that it becomes.
