@G0dot tbh the system didnt bother me for the first like 3 days ,it was difficult but it was still possible to do and it didnt feel like every attack i was doing did nothing but at day 6 literally every time i start an encounter the enemies go first, activate shield all(which blocks every attack but almighty) +an extra turn so its a waste of a attack and if by gods chance i do damage (with overly expensive almighty attacks) they instantly heal up cuz all three enemies have media. I also just hate the whole battle grid and how enemies have a huge advantage over the player like why are they able to attack you from out of range. its a very high chance i just suck and im jus complaining about how much i suck but even then i suck at turn based rpg in general but i still have fun but for srpg its just very boring and tedious system to play through, im jealous of people who actually finds srpg fun or easy. plus the story/characters are not that interesting to keep going(even tho i went thru 6 days which is more than enough)
one more thing to add;the missions are ass
Not liking it is fine, but don't let this detract you from trying other SRPG's.
Games like this and even FFTactics were big turn offs for me when I first played them but games like Valkyria Chronicles and Fire Emblem have eased me into the genre pretty well.

FF tactics is poorly balanced and hardly fair but it's so easy to break it, I would even say that it takes more effort trying not to break it. So it's more on The rpg side (or you could say power fantasy). I recommend trying triangle strategy out as a more tactical game.
This is one of the worst notable SRPGs from a gameplay standpoint by far. There are plenty of far better ones like Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, or Majin Tensei II.
